London Comic-Con 2009
There was a girl walking around dressed as Rukia with the glove that knocks souls from their bodies that I hoped to get a picture with, in a pose like she was knocking my soul out, but I was unable to find her after going to see the Danny Trejo guest talk.
I also saw someone dressed like Winry from Full Metal Alchemist with someone short dressed as Edward Elric (which made me laugh at the irony). There were a few people dressed like the homunculus like Envy.
Danny Trejo's talk was quite funny, halfway through he called Robert Rodriguez for us all to shout at him to hurry up with Machete. He also told us about some website where we could get an awesome film for free called apocalypsearmy.com or something, but I have yet to find it.
I didn't buy much stuff, but I did buy a replica of Tensa Zangetsu to go with my Bleach costume.
As you can see its length is huge, giving a maximum ego of +54 inches (excluding the chain).
All I need now is some plaster of paris or paper mache to make a Vizard mask and I have a full costume ready for the next event.
Another thing I bought was a Big Kahuna top from a T-Shirt store, a reference to a burger from the film Pulp Fiction. The shop gave a card which had a url on it, Nerdoh.
I'll definitely be going to Comic-Con again, though it was too bad this year it didn't happen until after pay day, there were plenty of other things I would have loved to have bought.
